Cave Rescue called out to help a climber in trouble just outside of Ingleton.
A female climber fell from one of the routes on the lower quarry face at Storrs Common near Ingleton on Tuesday afternoon. The 32 year old sustaining lower leg injuries.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service crew was on scene and an air ambulance was en route when the Cave Rescue Organisation Duty Controller was called.
Paramedics having treated and ‘packaged’ the casualty, the CRO team members transported her safely to the road ambulance on a wheeled stretcher.
The is no news as to the condition of the casualty.
