Firework Displays in the Dales

There are loads of events happening this weekend in the Dales. Here are some of best organised displays to attend.

Saturday 4th November

Bedale Community Bonfire & Fireworks is at Bedale Hall and Park.  Donations are welcome and fundraising is already underway for the 2024 event. Food is available from 5pm.  The bonfire is lit at 6.15pm and fireworks are at 7pm

TIP: Avoid busy roads & parking - let the train take the strain! Tickets are £10 return; children under 16 travel free when accompanied by a paying adult. Book at wensleydalerailway.co.uk 

There's also a free park & minibus ride from Bedale Camping & Caravanning Park.  DL8 1RF - put the postcode in your maps when you get into Bedale to get you straight to us. Follow the signs!  Bedale Community Shuttle Bus to Bedale Park from 5pm to 8.30pm.

West Burton Bonfire is a free event, but donations are welcome. BBQ and drinks at the Fox and Hounds Pub

It's on West Burton Village Green, with the bonfire Lit at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm 

West Witton Bonfire in Wensleydale is a free event, but donations are welcome. There's hot food and a licensed bar from 6pm. It's on West Witton Playing Fields from 6pm with the bonfire at 6.30pm and fireworks at 7pm

All of these are on Sunday 5th November:

In Swaledale, Reeth bonfire is a free event. Donations are welcome. BBQ throughout the night.  It's on Reeth Village Green with judging of the Guy 6pm and Fireworks 7pm 

In Wensleydale, Upper Dales Bonfire & Fireworks in Hawes is a free event,  a suggested donation of £3 is welcome. It's on Hawes Community Field, next to the Dales Countryside Museum.  Gates open at 6.30pm. 

Leyburn’s bonfire night on The Shawl is a free event, but donations are welcome.  The bonfire is lit at 6.30pm and the Fireworks are at 7pm
