Dogs attending a Richmondshire-based daycare facility have more outdoor space to enjoy thanks to a District Council grant.
Fetch a Friend has received £1,000 from the Small Business Grant scheme to help clear and landscape a new area of outside land. It will provide further safe space for the animals and allow pets to be separated where necessary.
“I want the business to continue and grow,” said owner Abbie Perkins. “We aim to provide a fun safe space for dogs to interact and play as well as receive lots of cuddles! The grant has allowed us to expand our outdoor space to be able to accommodate more of the dogs in Richmond and the surrounding areas.”
The Small Business Grant scheme offers up to £1,000 to small businesses under 36 months old to help start and grow. The fund can be used towards the purchase of equipment, marketing costs and adaptation to premises.
