Charity Ball hailed a great success

The Let’s Go Charity Ball raised an incredible £23,763.86 on the night for The Principle Trust Children's Charity

The Charity is absolutely thrilled to announce that the Let’s Go Charity Ball was an overwhelming success, raising an incredible £23,763.86 on the night! This fantastic total will cover the running costs of one of our respite homes for an entire year, giving 34 of Yorkshire's most vulnerable families the chance to escape their daily challenges and create lasting, joyful memories.

This achievement is only possible because of the generosity and support from everyone who attended, donated, and believed in the cause. Your kindness will directly impact the lives of children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, or who have life-limiting conditions, as well as those who have experienced poverty, trauma, or abuse.

Organisers say the event itself was nothing short of magical, thanks to the tireless efforts of many individuals and organisations. We are incredibly grateful to the following people and businesses who made the evening truly unforgettable:

  • Madeleine Roberts, who wowed us with her Shania Twain tribute performance—her talent and energy were absolutely amazing!
  • Nick Babb from NJB Entertainments, who kept the dancefloor alive all night long, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time.
  • Our brilliant host, David Waterhouse, who kept everything running smoothly and ensured the evening was filled with laughter and excitement.
  • Nabin at Soul and Co, who beautifully captured the magic of the event with his stunning photography.
  • Kyle Findley at 21 Degrees Digital, who is working on the videography—we can’t wait to relive the night through your lens!
  • A huge thank you to Impulse Decisions for running our online silent auction, ensuring that even those who couldn't attend in person could still participate and support our cause.
  • Volunteers Diane and Christine, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, along with the entire team at The Principle Trust.

A special mention to the incredible staff at The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa, who took such amazing care of us throughout the night, making sure every detail was perfect.
