This year is the tenth anniversary of the amazing Dark Skies Festival here in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.
This year is the tenth anniversary of the Yorkshire Dales Skies Festivals 2025.
This amazing event launches on 13th February right up until 2nd March and this year it will coincide with a rare planetary alignment of Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune, enhancing the festival's stargazing events.
The festival is a fabulous opportunity to explore the beauty of the night sky and what better places than the beautiful North Yorks Moors and The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
New venues and events have been added this year! As well as the Broughton Sanctuary opening, astronomy suppers at Elsworth Mill at Skipton, High Trenhouse at Malham Moor near Settle and The Hostel at Hawes, there is a also new planet trail installed at Buckden well worth checking out.
