In this exhibition, John Bentley presents a selection of photographs of sheep fell gathers in the Yorkshire Dales and wider afield in the north of England. These often spectacular events are a highlight of the hill farming calendar. The exhibition features many new photographs, alongside stunning images from his recent best-selling book, ‘Hill Farming in the North of England’.

Museum opening hours (mid-February to December):
Tuesday – Saturday 11:00am to 4:00pm (last admission 3:30pm)
Closed on Sundays and Mondays except bank holidays
